The effect of adding Gd to Zr-base bulk amorphous alloy on glass formation ability (GFA)
Structure transformation and thermal characterisation
has been studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).The result show that the additiong of Gd increased average distance of atom
changed short-range order area
the reduced glass transition temperature Trg (Trg=Tg/Tm)get the bigest value 0.7016 in content of 5% but the supercooled liquid region △Tx decrease from 50.1 to 33.9 when the content of Gd from 1% to 10%.
